My rent is paid by Housing Benefits, how will this affect me?
Providing all arrears on your rent account are due to the 4 weekly payment schedule by Housing Benefits, then you will still qualify for entry into the draws. If the amount you have to pay is not up to date, then you will not qualify.

I have a re-charge on my account, will I qualify?
No. A clear account is needed to qualify. You should contact our Rent Team on 0151 261 2100 to arrange re-payment as soon as possible.

I pay my rent on 15th of each month, will I qualify?
Providing your rent account is clear, or in credit, on draw date, yes. If you pay your rent in arrears then you should make efforts to ensure that it is paid in advance each month so no arrears appear. I only joined Venture part way through the year, will I qualify for the Christmas draw?
Yes, providing you qualified for the draws that took place when you were a tenant, or your rent is paid by Direct Debit.

I have an agreement to pay my arrears weekly, how can I qualify?
If you are in arrears then you will not qualify for the 3 clear account draws, however if you pay your arrears by Direct Debit you will qualify for the Christmas draw providing you have not bounced a Direct Debit payment throughout the year. My account was in arrears on draw date as the Housing Benefit Office had not processed my claim, will I qualify?
No. A clear account is needed to qualify. You should ensure that the Housing Benefit Office are in possession of all information to process your claim as soon as possible.
