Sparkles Day - Saturday 29th October2011

Come and join in the Sparkles Day on Saturday 29th October in the Liverpool 6 area.

Venture Housing staff will be working with other partners and residents to clean up the Liverpool 6 neighbourhood. We will be meeting at the Association’s offices at 9.30am to go out and clean up the grot spots in the neighbourhood. Anyone is welcome to come and join us on that day.

There will be skips placed throughout the neighbourhood so residents can get rid of any large household items. The skips will arrive early in the morning and will be picked up the same day. Remember to put the date in your diary – don’t miss out on the opportunity to use the skips.

In the afternoon we will be having some fun events at our offices in Boaler Street which will include:
• Fancy dress competition with a Halloween theme
• Face Painting
• Games

There will a variety of organisations attending the day and this will include the Fire Service who will be bringing one of their fire engines along for people to look at.

The Police and City Council will also be coming along and you can talk to them about any issues around anti-social behaviour or problems with the environment.
