Who's Who in Venture

We have changed the way we work in Venture Housing so that our officers all have responsibility for specific areas. The changes should lead to an improved service for all of our tenants. We now have 3 distinct neighbourhood areas:

Venture Wirral

This team deals with all the properties on the Wirral, the team members are:
Leila Hassan / Kerry Watterson - Neighbourhood Housing Officer
Kevin Dolman - Property Services Officer
Russell Doswell - Caretaker

Venture Central

This team deals with properties in the Liverpool 4,6,7 and 8 areas, the team members are:
Joanne Rooney - Neighbourhood Housing Officer
Lisa Rietdyk - Property Services Officer
Martin Russell - Caretaker

Venture Suburbs

This team deals with properties in Liverpool 4,5,8,17, 25 and 27 areas, the team members are:
Lorraine Clarke - Neighbourhood Housing Officer
George Standen - Building Services Officer
Tony Pickup - Property Services Officer
Neil Morris - Caretaker

The team members have different roles, but have a good understanding of all of the issues within their neighbourhood.

The Neighbourhood Housing Officers deal with letting empty properties, anti-social behaviour, tenancy and neighbourhood issues. They are often out and about visiting tenants in their homes. If you contact the office they may be out and about, they are more likely to be in the office before 10am and after 4pm, but you may also catch them in the middle of the day. If they are out of the office when you ring they will return your call within 24 hours.

The Property Services Officers deal with all the technical aspects of managing our homes. They inspect properties for repairs and look at repairs that have been completed. They deal with the contractors and make sure that works are being completed to an acceptable standard. The Property Services Officers are also often out of the office looking at properties. Like the Housing Officers they are more likely to be out of the office between 10am and 12 noon and 2-4pm, if they are out when you ring they will return your call within 24 hours.

The Caretakers are always out and about and undertake a huge variety of tasks including cleaning out empty properties, boarding up properties, cleaning communal areas, gardening and some repairs. You will often see them out and about in your neighbourhood.

It is worth remembering that our Customer Services Team are often able to resolve queries without you needing to contact your Housing Officer or Surveyor, if you explain what the issue is they may be able to help. The Customer Services Team are based in the office and the team members are:
