Applying for Housing

Venture is committed to supporting the principles of tenants choice within the Associations’ Allocation Policy. This includes offering an emergency housing transfer in serious cases of harassment, and allowing existing tenants to continue to seek rehousing by pursuing a “mutual exchange” with another tenant.

We are working in partnership with Liverpool City Council and Wirral Borough Council to deliver local Choice Based Lettings. We advertise all available properties through the Council held Housing Register.

If you wish to be considered for accommodation in Liverpool make an application through any participating RSL to have your details added to the Propertypool register.

Consultation by Wirral Council

Wirral Council, in partnership with a number of Housing Associations, has operated a Choice Based Lettings scheme known as Wirralhomes since 2003. The Council has been working with the Councils of Halton, Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton and more than 20 Housing Associations to develop a scheme across all of these areas. The new scheme will be called Property Pool Plus.

Choice-based Lettings schemes have been operating in Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral for a number of years, but it will be totally new for Halton and Knowsley residents.
