Annual Report 2010

Here you can download our Annual Report for 2010 (download size is 1.5MB), this sets out how we comply with the Tenant Services Authority’s (TSA) Regulatory Framework. This report is meant to give an overall view of how our services compare to the standards set down by government through the social housing regulator, the TSA.

In a national consultation with tenants of social housing during 2009, the TSA developed a Regulatory Framework which came into force in April 2010. The Framework sets out standards for social housing in six areas:

Tenant involvement and empowerment
Homes
Tenancy
Neighbourhood and community
Value for money
Governance and financial viability

All providers of social housing need to demonstrate how they meet the standards and we have worked with our Tenants’ Committee to agree how we should prepare this report to you. The Tenants’ Committee has decided that the most effective method would be for a summary report to be produced in a clear ‘newsletter-style’ format. In mid-October members of the Tenants’ Committee will present more detailed information to tenants at public meetings in each of the areas where we work. Staff will be present at the meetings to answer your questions and describe how you can get involved in improving the services we provide. The details of these meetings are given on page 7 of the report.
